Arthritis Power is the first ever patient-led, patient-generated, patient-centered research registry for arthritis and related conditions. Using the web-based and mobile application, 10,000+ patients from around the world are tracking symptoms to support future research to compare treatments, identify new treatments and, perhaps, find elusive cures.
Arthritis Power is funded by the Patient Centered Outcomes Research Institute, and is a part of The National Patient Centered Clinical Research Network (PCORnet). PCORnet was born out of the Affordable Care Act in an effort to transform clinical research by engaging patients, care providers, and health systems in collaborative partnerships to improve healthcare and advance medical knowledge. PCORnet has the potential to have a transformative effect on the health care system and will perform research more quickly and for less money than our current system.
